This is a situation that I cant figure out. I am losing bigtime Money on this. Here is the situation. 2/4 limit. You raise your AK and get one caller who is a calling station. flop comes 3 blanks and you fire at it and get called, now what do you do? Do you fire again on the turn? If they call again do you check the river. I feel like I just cant win with this hand, any advice will be apriciated.
How the hell do you get a read on a calling station?
Do you ever bet all the way down and showdown A high? |

(im not a limit player so if something i say is wrong, sorry) i wouldnt even bet on the flop if the guys a calling station. unless your value betting here because your not gonna get him to fold. im not gonna try to bluff him at all, he could be playing with any 2 cards, so all you can do is show him a hand.

Yeah like he said, you can't bluff a calling station. You shouldn't try to bluff someone that can't be bluffed. When you're playing a poor player you have to be completely straight forward with them.

I've been playing a lot of 2/4 live latly and have run into this spot a few times. I really find this one of the most awkward situations I run into at these tables. The guy will call down with bottem pair, any ace, and most likely any two overcards. Odds are you have the best hand but with only you and him in the pot it isn't worth finding out. If I have posistion on him I will probably bet the turn and check the river, without position I'm probably check/folding.

Thanks for some of the replies. Sorry if I didnt state this before but this is strictly a limit situation. I have been playing this like most suggest in this post. Betting early and depending on my read checking or betting the turn and if I just have A high folding to a river bet. The thing that is getting to me is I feel like people are bluffing me on the river too much. I have been folding to the river bet but am thinking I should call down in some of these situations more to show I am willing to do it. In a real low limit situation I do not even worry about this. I will never bet into alot of callers but playing pstars 2/4 is not at all like b&m 2/4 it is tighter and there is more heads up play.h
